With the month of May arriving, Saturn begins its long retrograde which will continue right up to mid-September!
Saturn is presently in conjunction with Ketu, the Moon’s ecliptic point and therefore becoming energetically eclipsed. Saturn is also near Pluto adding to the rather intense energy which has been going on during the month of April.
This amplified energy with Saturn can magnify more rigidity with people, a general obtuseness in our society and of course with the powers that be!
Saturn can also enhance lethargy and inertia which can make you feel that your cup is half empty rather than half full.
We need to take a look this month as well as for the rest of this year regarding our own rigidity, how to be flexible yet reclaim and keep our power. This alignment will be on us more or less for the rest of the year
We need to look after ourselves for there will not be that many who will want to help you out as most are becoming that self-absorbed with their lives.
Don’t become the rigidity and let go of blame for no one is listening anyhow. To counter the harshness of Saturn become wiser and keep open to new things coming for they are on the horizon for you!
Saturn, as well as Pluto, are now in retrograde and with Ketu and Rahu in their continuous retrograde...all are chasing each other’s tail and this is causing much disturbance!
Essentially, this is about change, perhaps at all costs for the status quo is no longer going to easily work out for you.
Pluto is known to be explosive energy and will often obliterate things to bring about new beginnings just like the phoenix rising from the ashes!
Pluto with Saturn is revolutionary energy while Ketu, the ecliptic point causes fires and explosions on one level yet on another can bring profound openings in a spiritual context. Do you want more of the same or are you ready to rise from the ashes?
We get a break from the Saturn/Pluto conjunction during the summer before it fully returns at the end of the year for a much longer time.
In May much will continue to intensify as was the case in April and we only need to take look at the extremities of the weather in most places to gauge how extreme it has been. Yes, everything does get affected by the planets!
On the 3rd of May, we get some long-awaited relief when Mercury finally moves out of Pisces which is its debilitation or fallen sign for that planet. The anxiety will be much less after having Mercury in retrograde in March and part of April as well it being around the ecliptic points, Rahu and Ketu. It then entered its debilitation sign which always enhances some form of hecticness. I for one will be happy for that shift!
Jupiter has recently retrograded taking us back into the intense field of Scorpio and though we had a brief taste of Jupiter being in the realm of Sagittarius for a month, we now need to wait for that opening to come back in the fall when Jupiter in its direct motion will enter that sign for a full year.
The New Moon comes in on May the 5th which once again tells us to start things afresh and close the door to old storylines and energy from the previous 28 days. The new Moon always gives us an opportunity to begin again!
Spring is always a great time to re-start your engines, especially with the new moon on Friday.
