December Stargazer Newsletter
What's in store for us this month? December has arrived and once again the Holiday season is now upon us. What’s in store for us this month?December starts with a bang of energy! We have the Full Moon arriving today and with it comes Mercury retrograde!Moon signifies our emotions, while Mercury signifies our nervous system and analytical mind and so expect our emotions to be full on this month, though this has been much the case since the two eclipses occurred in August! The full Moon is in Taurus; it’s exalted sign, the most favourable sign.It has often said by Vedic astrologers in India that whenever you start something with...
Major Lines and Planets as Seen in the Hand
Palmistry and Vedic Astrology have a very special link with each other and was why I became fascinated to study both modalities. I came to see that when a planet was strong or favorable in the chart, the same was also seen in the palm. The index finger is the Jupiter finger. The long or middle finger is Saturn, the ring finger is the Sun and the pinkie is our good friend, Mercury. The Heart line (our emotions) is the upper line in our hand as it veers towards the index finger, the Jupiter finger. Jupiter will always bring expansion...
End of the November Thunderstorm Energies
As this week concludes and with December just around the corner, we already have had a taste of an erratic Mercury occurring, as well as the thunderstorm of Mars and Pluto. Mars and Pluto will soon have run their course with each other and I hope that you didn’t have such a hardship with it. It seemed that the rumbling of those thunder clouds only rumbled and that that thankfully the storm didn’t happen. Personally, I felt a lot of sabotage energy going on (Mercury) with computer glitches and electrical difficulties with my car. From time to time there seemed...
Mars and Pluto Square off
Mars will square Pluto this coming week and this transit is presently already quite close. A square is when planets are at 90-degree angles from each other. If you imagined a clock, Mars would be at 12:00 and Pluto at 3:00. The signification of this transit is known to be most volatile, so please check your reactions to things that may come up with you and with people around you. Try not to over-react and take care while driving as accidents are also a signification of this transit. This fiery transit may very well bring out explosive energy in the...
Have You Noticed?
The day before the new Moon usually has low energy, much is generally quiet and subdued…but Mercury has had other ideas. Have you noticed? Weeks before Mercury goes into its retrograde motion (December the 3rd), it's orbital speed begins to slow down. This week its motion became half of it’s normal motion, (from 2 degrees to one) and with that mercurial energy gets erratic and wonky, which probably have made your days busier, even chaotic. You may have had many distractions come your way keeping you out of flow and balance. Also, some of you may have experienced more stress,...
