The Solar Eclipse and The Chinese New Year
This is the energy shift we have been all waiting for, after a very long year of intense planetary energy, a year dating back to 2017. The solar eclipse will take place Thursday, the 15th of February during the evening in the Western hemisphere and therefore will not be seen. However, the eclipse will be visible in South America and Australia, though it will only be a partial solar eclipse. The New Moon occurs with a solar eclipse and with the New Moon on the 16th, the celebrations begin for the Chinese New Year, The Year of the Earth Dog. The Dog Year...
The February Effect
We will be starting this month off with a bang with a Full Moon Lunar eclipse followed by a solar eclipse on the 15th of February. These two eclipses will bring about some form of conclusion to the last six months of intensity. It was at first thought that the eclipses of August were to alleviate the intensity of 2017, but that didn’t happen due to certain lingering influences from the planets in transit. This Full Moon eclipse has been getting much attention (just as the solar eclipse in August did), due to its nearness to the earth, making it...
Do you have the January Blues?
The Moon begins to gain strength after being empty (New Moon) this past week. It will start the week in the sign of Pisces which can be emotional or sentimental. The Moon in Pisces can also indicate more clouds and precipitation in the air. Mars has now entered its own sign of Scorpio, another water sign but Mars gets quite strong in its own sign changing weariness into more vitality and assertiveness. The planets are in somewhat of a holding pattern as has been the case for the last many months. However, Venus and the Sun are getting ready to lead the...
New Moon and the 28 day Cycle
The New Moon will arrive on Tuesday night on January 16th and with this new cycle, it will bring in a most interesting month. Oh No, you say! Not another time of intensity. Well, yes is the answer but what this cycle will be doing is closing the door to the last six months, letting go (at least to a certain degree) of this intensity. What we do with it is up to us. Are you still caught in life’s drama? Have you been able to look in the mirror during these last six months? Are you ready to step...
Stargazers Newsletter for January 2018-The Super Moon, Eclipses and the Earth Dog
The New Year is now upon us and with this symbolic happening, let us all do a reset and let go of the intensity which seemed to be the case for most of 2017. Is 2018 going be easier for us? Will there more flow and fluidity? Can we be more in peace in the moment? These are some of the questions many people are asking and hoping for. My call is that the celebration for the New Year will occur in mid-February when finally, after six months of the planets being caught in the astral wedge, trapped between those...
